ABOUT US
Our Mission
To provide key solutions for dental issues, benefiting both patients and dentists while promoting overall oral health. We also strive to improve oral hygiene as a means to enhance overall well-being.
The 8020 goal set by the WHO aims to ensure that individuals over the age of 80 retain at least 20 natural teeth. By 2017, Japan had already achieved a success rate of over 50%, while Taiwan lagged behind at only 19.6%. Recent studies further indicate that the number of missing teeth in individuals over 80 is a significant predictor of mortality. Taiwan is on the verge of becoming a super-aged society, with 20% of the population aged 65 and above by 2025, making oral health care more crucial than ever.
The National Health Interview Survey conducted by Taiwan's Health Promotion Administration revealed that 63.2% of elderly individuals experience dietary limitations, while 80.48% of adults suffer from periodontitis. Beyond causing bone loss and tooth loss, periodontitis also triggers systemic inflammation, increasing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, osteoporosis, and hypertension. Additionally, it shares a bidirectional relationship with diabetes. Some studies even suggest a correlation between tooth loss and an elevated risk of dementia.
By integrating the Preventive Prosthetic System treatment concept into modern dentistry—or even applying Fasten Attachment System products to natural tooth roots—we aim to extend the longevity of natural teeth. This, in turn, may contribute to a higher 8020 success rate, ultimately promoting better oral and overall health.

A Brief History of Fasten Attachment System
The journey of the Fasten Attachment System began in the 1980s, transitioning from traditional clasp designs to advanced modified telescopic conical crowns (Konus). By 1987, efforts were focused on perfecting the double crown technique, emphasizing precise fabrication, correction of external shapes, and securing the natural contour of teeth. This approach was meticulously refined through the analysis of repeated clinical failures, leading to over 1,400 documented cases since 2002.
In 2006, the Preventive Prosthesis System (PPS) was officially published, offering a forward-thinking design and application method. By 2016, the development shifted towards commercializing innovative designs, combining clinical expertise with patented technologies. This commitment bore fruit in 2019, when the fourth generation of the Fasten Attachment System and Keyway was completed.
In 2020, the system achieved FDA approval for its design and secured patents in Taiwan. By 2022, the Fasten Attachment System and its companion, the Fasten Implant, were recognized with patents in both Japan and the United States. As of 2024, the system has been successfully applied in over 1,500 cases, with the Fasten Implant currently under active development.
This legacy is spearheaded by Dr. Wen-Yuen Wu, a dedicated researcher in clinical work and special instructor at Kyushu Dental University since 2003. With a PhD in clinical dentistry and specialization in prosthodontics, Dr. Wu has led the charge in refining over 1,400 cases of modified telescopic conical crowns a.k.a. PPS prosthesis, setting a benchmark for excellence in dental innovation.
